I'm just a lazy person
Hi. I'm a sloth. I'm not lazy, although I'm often called slow. In general, it's true. It seems that everything around me is faster: spoonbills urge me on, crocodiles call me to compete, anteaters call me to hunt ants, and toucans call me to beat a beat with them. But this doesn't suit me very well. I'd rather sit quietly in a tree, admire the sky, and listen to quieter music. This doesn't mean that I'm bad or somehow wrong. This is just who I am.
Sloths are one of the most amazing inhabitants of South and Central America. They spend most of their lives in energy-saving mode. They sleep for a long time, move little and slowly, and even digest food for a whole month. They do not compete in strength and agility, like other animals. But they have their own unique abilities that help them survive in difficult conditions.
