Tail scarf

An author's book is always a special project for an illustrator. When the entire idea, from the story to the images, belongs to one person, and nothing holds back the imagination, real miracles come to light.
This is what happened with this cozy winter fairy tale, written and illustrated by artist Natalia Shaloshvili.
Natalia came up with funny and charming characters, composed a touching story, and drew atmospheric illustrations. The result is a winter fairy tale for the little ones about how everyone can find a friend, you just have to show kindness and generosity.
"A Scarf for a Tail" is a story about a mouse who knitted a warm scarf for the winter and decided to give it to someone from the forest. But neither the angry wolf, nor the fashionable fox, nor the elderly moose were happy with such a gift... Fortunately, the mouse still found someone who needed her scarf. And she also found a friend!
Natalia Shaloshvili worked in fashion illustration for a long time, but in recent years she became interested in children's literature. The Nigma publishing house published the books "Operation Chik-Chirik and New Year" and "Two Loves of Juliet" with Natalia's illustrations.
Natalia came up with the fairy tale "Scarf for the Tail" in the summer. Here's what the artist says about this work: "First, the main characters appeared - the Lion and the Mouse. Then I began to compose the story. As an illustrator, it is easier for me to start with images, sketches on paper. The fairy tale itself appeared later. My book has different characters - funny, cute, kind and not so. I hope that children will smile while reading it."
