Scarecrow
The story "Scarecrow" is about "strange" people - an elderly front-line soldier who collects paintings of his ancestor-artist, and his granddaughter, sixth-grader Lena Bessoltseva. A girl deprived of protective indifference, the ability to ignore cruelty or injustice. But she is abundantly endowed with love for a person, although, perhaps, he does not deserve it. Her lot fell to the hatred of classmates, the indifference of teachers, the inattention of her grandfather ... And the worst thing - the betrayal of the one she considered a friend. What happened to Lena? She became strong, brave and ... magnanimous. Only a very strong personality can forgive and believe in a person. Based on the story by V. Zheleznikov, director Rolan Bykov made one of the most amazing films of the twentieth century "Scarecrow".
