Dunne, the one who lives on Humlevegen and has finished first grade, is going to spend her long-awaited summer holidays visiting her best friend Ella-Frida in a big house on the island. The summer is going great: the girls swim five or six times a day, play and have fun, and also earn extra money. Every morning the girlfriends hurry to the pier, where a boat docks at exactly 9:10, and the passengers happily buy fresh buns, coffee and juice. Selling everything in a few minutes before the boat moves on is very exciting! And in the evenings, Dunne chats on the phone with her dad. "I'm happy, and let it always be that way!" the girl thinks. And everything is so, until one day Ella-Frida's cousin reveals a secret... Dunne was not at all prepared for such a turn of events!
Ruse Lagercrantz (born 1947) is a popular Swedish writer, winner of the August Strindberg and Astrid Lindgren Prizes. The Dunne and Happiness series is her most published work: it has been translated into dozens of languages, named one of the best children's books by The New York Times, and nominated for the Sorcière Prize (France) and the German Children's Literature Prize.
Young readers all over the world follow the happy life of the girl Dünne closely, and for many, the books by Ruse Lagercrantz are the first to be read independently: the font is large, the chapters are short, and Eva Eriksson's illustrations are attractive and sweet. "You are everything to me!" is the fourth part of a fascinating and educational story, published in Russian.
