Graham Rust was born in 1942 in Hertfordshire, UK. He studied at the Regent Street Polytechnic School of Art, the Central School of Arts and Crafts in London and the National Academy of Arts in New York, and travelled widely.
Graham Rust gained worldwide fame thanks to his frescoes and ceiling paintings that adorn homes in Europe, America and the Middle East.
Graham Rust has produced excellent illustrations for several books, the most popular of which are the F.H. Burnett novels The Secret Garden, A Little Princess and Little Lord Fauntleroy.
His illustrations somehow miraculously combine simplicity and elegance. The artist managed to convey the special atmosphere of the romance of the century before last. Lyrical landscapes, decorative interiors, emotional portraits - everything is subject to the brush of Graham Rust.
