Alexander Sergeevich Pushkin (1799-1837) - Russian poet, writer, playwright, critic and publicist, editor and publisher. He was the first to speak in the living language of the people in his works. Even during his lifetime, A. S. Pushkin gained fame as the greatest Russian national poet.
The collection includes all of A.S. Pushkin's fairy tales for children, the poet's best poems that are studied in school - "The Song of the Prophetic Oleg", "Autumn", "Winter Morning", "Anchar", "I have erected a monument to myself not made by hands..." and others, as well as the poem "Ruslan and Lyudmila".
Explanations are provided for obsolete words and expressions.
