Italian writer, journalist and screenwriter Luigi Ballerini (born 1963) is a great connoisseur of cooking: under his editorship, several encyclopedias dedicated to this art were published. Ballerini's passion intersected in "Signorina Cinnamon" with his love of children's literature - and successfully: the story was awarded the main Italian youth award, Premio Andersen, in 2014. In the writer's homeland, this urban fairy tale for 8-11-year-olds immediately gained popularity: a bright, kind and memorable story - a real modern classic.
