The grumpy lonely gnome Buka hung his mittens out to dry. But here's the problem - the wind blew them away. And when Buka shook his fist at the wind, the mischief-maker tore the red cap off his head. How can you catch them now!
In the forest under an old oak tree lives a large family of rabbits: mother, father, aunt and uncle, grandfather and children - you can't count them, because they are always running, screaming, jumping. Two little rabbits, Nina and Nika, find among the leaves and moss a red cap blown away by the wind from a gnome who always comes to the forest for Christmas. But what is Christmas? Squirrels and crows said that Christmas is the happiest holiday. No one knows how to celebrate it, but everyone is waiting for it with impatience and preparing for the gnome's arrival: they compose a joyful gnome song, bake delicious things, clean the house, prepare gifts and decorate a tree in the forest from all sorts of things.
But the gnome is still nowhere to be found. So the little rabbits set off to look for him!
