In an ordinary pea pod lived five little green peas. The peas were happy and cozy inside the pod, but they still felt that the time would come for them to leave the house, and they were sure of their certainly wonderful future. When the pod turned yellow and dried up, a little boy picked it and released all five peas through an elderberry tube wherever their eyes looked. And how different their fates turned out to be!..
