Chef Mouse

Chef Mouse is the main character of a culinary detective story for kids. He is expecting a dear guest, the bear cub Mishka, and is preparing an intricate treat with a secret ingredient. But here's the problem - the most important product, milk, disappears from the pot. Where did it go and who stole it? Mouse rushes to search for it among his neighbors - a hare, a squirrel, a hedgehog, and even gets into the owl's hollow, although he is terribly afraid of falling into its clutches. He looks into his neighbors' pots, but never finds the thief. But the little reader, together with Chef Mouse, learns that hedgehogs eat mushrooms, hares love carrots, and squirrels enjoy nuts.

But the guest Mishka did not remain hungry. Yes, the pot is empty, but the secret ingredient is intact - fragrant honey with the aroma of summer. And the friends, hugging, enjoy the sweet product and admire the starry sky, on which the Milky Way is spread out.

The little reader, with the help of adults, will have to guess where the milk has disappeared to. A special pleasure is to look at the forest apartments of Mouse and his neighbors with cute everyday details: jars with preserves, washed laundry hanging out to dry, strings of dried mushrooms, rugs and polka-dotted dinnerware.
