The incredible story of the seven strange pilgrims who set foot on the Holy Land one morning in 1271 continues! In the first volume, the authors told us the tragic stories of four: the lanky squire Blaise, who was forever stuck in a knight's helmet, the young sorceress Gertrude, who died at the stake, the overly affectionate parrot Giovanni, who literally fell from the sky, and the black cat Felideus, who was crushed by a cannonball. In the second, we learn how the remaining three became "non-living": the beautiful blue-eyed archer Pervanche, the warlike shorty Lieutenant-Corporal von Bertolt, and the mysterious white horse named Gustav. An amazing company, isn't it? And that's putting it mildly! Alas, their arduous journey to a mysterious monastery, hidden in a dead end near the road to Golgotha, ends in a grave disappointment: a considerable sum of money collected to pay for a magic potion (which, according to rumors, will allow them to come back to life!) must be absolutely pure - that is, obtained exclusively in a righteous way. Which, alas, is far from the case! However, they still have time to fix everything. Although... is there?
