The books about Mama Moo and Krax have been translated into 30 languages and are known all over the world. Their authors are Juja Wislander, an honorary member of the Swedish Academy of Children's Books, and Sven Nordqvist, who gained worldwide fame thanks to the books about Pettson and Findus.
Yuja Wislander is a Swedish children's author. She is best known for her series of stories about the inquisitive cow Mama Moo and the philosophizing raven Krax, illustrated by Sven Nordqvist.
Yuya created the characters with her husband Thomas. Mama Mu and Krax appeared as characters in a radio play and children's songs, and it wasn't until 1991 that the first book was published.
In 2005, Juja Wieslander received the Astrid Lindgren Prize.
