The book of fairy tales "The Capricious House" is a charming story about an old house and its inhabitants, a story that began a long time ago and continues to this day... In this book you will find thoughtful, wonderful fairy tales and enchanting magical illustrations: both the fairy tales and the illustrations were created by Olga Grebennik, a Ukrainian artist and writer from Kharkov. The composition of this book is quite unusual: the first three fairy tales ("A Week Without Mrs. Hedgehog", "Christmas Bustle" and "The Singing Mouse") are at first glance separate from each other, and the fourth fairy tale "The Capricious House" explains and unites them. This book tells us about kindness, love and care for loved ones, about trust in the world. Like all good children's books, it will be interesting for adults too.
And, of course, the "Whimsical House" can be a wonderful Christmas and New Year gift.
“I’ve had enough!” thought a very old Dom one day when he decided to change his life.
The house was indeed very old: it did not even remember who had built it. Its walls had absorbed the patina of time, the window frames creaked pleasantly; a large garden with fragrant, delicate roses and prickly, severe juniper had grown around the house. The pebbles on the path that led to the main entrance had worn down over the years and now shone like sunbeams.
The house stood alone in the forest, listening to the singing of birds and the rustling of trees, greeting the sunrises every day...
