Geometric Mosaic. Part 1 (4-6 years)

Mathematics for kids is not only counting, but also various geometric tasks. Repeating a pattern using a sample, assembling from construction set parts using a diagram - this is also mathematics.
The sequence of work with any new geometric material is as follows:
— first, a free game to get acquainted with the details, “Think of whatever you want, assemble your own picture”;
— then completing the tasks “Assemble according to a pattern from 2–3 parts” (in this mosaic the angles are not right angles, so even a candy made of three parts cannot always be easily repeated by children);
- then “Assemble according to the large color scheme by superimposing” (we put the parts on top of the drawing);
— “Assemble according to the large black and white diagram and paint each piece in the desired colors”;
— “Assemble according to the reduced color scheme”;
— “Assemble according to the reduced black and white pattern and paint each piece in the required colors”;
- "Come up with your own picture and trace it";
— “Come up with your own picture and draw it using the triangular cells.”
We are used to working with cubes, bricks and other figures that have right angles. Mosaic in this regard is much more complex and interesting, because the parts have angles of 30, 60, 120 and 150 degrees.
In this notebook we have collected many simple plot pictures.
