After the global war, the population of the Earth decreased significantly. The political map of the world changed, and races and nationalities mixed. Genetic changes led to the emergence of special people. "Gifted" - this is what they began to call those who could see the world differently, who could change it. Gifted isolated themselves on a hidden Island in the World Ocean, where hand in hand with their own kind they made discoveries and moved science forward. And on the mainland, in the city-state of Metropolis, power ended up in the hands of the Protectorate - a merciless totalitarian governing body. To avoid clashes between gifted and ordinary people, the servants of the Protectorate strictly divided everyone into two age groups. The First Class includes children under sixteen who have superpowers. They enjoy the privileges of society, power, wealth and immunity. While the Second Class - adults deprived of the gift - have practically no rights. Oytush and Sati, from different classes, dared to love each other, knowing that for this alone the all-seeing protectorate would punish with death. But, fortunately, they are not the first to challenge the superpower.
