All seahorses are sold out

Dad is very busy: he is working on an important project. And since he works from home, he asks his son Mika not to distract him. But Mika is bored - after all, he is a child and he wants to play with someone.

Mika asks permission to get a pet so he can spend time with someone while dad is busy. After thinking for a while, dad gives Mika his consent and a wallet, with which the boy goes to the pet store. There Mika buys himself a gerbil mouse. And they play hide-and-seek all over the living room. True, then the mouse hides so well that Mika goes to the pet store again and this time comes back with a puppy, because dogs have an excellent sense of smell and can find anyone. Well, and then... then Mika had to run to the pet store several more times.

And so, when on Sunday Dad finally finished his important project and looked around, he discovered that a large friendly company was sitting at the kitchen table having breakfast: Mika with a gerbil, a puppy, a seal, a penguin, a parrot and a baby elephant.

This incredible story about what can happen when parents get too carried away with work was told and shown by two contemporary artists from Hamburg, Constanze Spengler and Katja Hermann.
