The graphic novel adaptation of The Wind in the Willows is a new take on one of the most famous children's books, Kenneth Grahame's classic fairy tale.
One fine spring day, the Mole decided to get out of his hole, he just felt that something important was waiting for him outside. And he was right.
At the top, Mole meets the loyal and good-natured Rat, a water rat. Together they go on a picnic to enjoy all the beauty around them. During their little journey, they meet the grumpy old Badger, the devoted family man Otter and, of course, the brilliant Toad, whose pranks bring an end to their peaceful life.
"The Wind in the Willows" is an adventure story about the power of true friendship, kindness, courage and mutual assistance. And the magnificent watercolor illustrations by Michel Plessis only emphasize the beauty of this fairy tale, making us linger on each frame and examine every detail.
The Russian adaptation was made by the researcher of European comics Mikhail Khachaturov. It is based on the classic translation of the "voice" of Alice, Winnie the Pooh and the Moomins by Irina Tokmakova. This translation has been relevant for more than 30 years.
