Fascinated by the study of ancient myths, old legends and fairy tales, Lewis followed his friend's advice and wrote down his childhood impressions and adult reflections - this is how the book "The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe" was born, which became one of the most famous and beloved books of the twentieth century. The next six magical stories were not long in coming and made up the epic "The Chronicles of Narnia".
