My name is Lena Bulay, I am an illustrator, and I have a beloved dog named Joe. When she appeared, I knew practically nothing about dogs and made a lot of mistakes. But I studied a lot, read, went to seminars and consulted with dog behavior specialists. I learned how to properly communicate with a dog, listen to it and hear it, how to build a relationship with it, how to care for and train a dog, how to choose the right food, walk with it and travel.
Jo and I have come a long way, and Jo has transformed from a scared street puppy into a confident, happy dog.
I'm not a perfect owner and Joe is not a perfect dog, but for me she is the best, that's for sure.
I hope this book will help you understand who dogs are and find the best one among them, yours!
