"The Snow Queen" is one of the most famous fairy tales in the world, which has inspired many artists. Hearing its title, you involuntarily imagine an old Danish town on Christmas Eve, falling snow, the Snow Queen's sleigh carrying Kai to the North Pole... All this is an established illustrative canon. However, the artist Anton Lomaev offers his own vision of the famous fairy tale, transferring its action to the twentieth century. This century - difficult, terrible and beautiful - became a test of strength for many things that seemed unshakable to people. In this refraction, Andersen's fairy tale sounds completely different, forcing the reader to take a fresh look at the familiar plot. And to make sure that it does not lose its relevance, telling about timeless values - faith, hope and love in the enchanting words of the great storyteller.
