In the backyard, where the sun does not penetrate, lives a lonely lame duck. She does not even have anyone to share her peanuts with, of which she has a lot! The duck has never gone beyond the yard - without a crutch she cannot go far, and it is scary to leave the familiar place, step into the unknown and change her life.
But one day a blind chicken wanders into the yard and tells the duck about her cherished wish: more than anything in the world she wants to find a place where dreams come true. But how can she get there if she can't see anything? If only she had a companion!..
Unexpectedly for himself, the lame duck decides to take an adventure and sets off on a journey together with the blind chicken.
