Svetlik Tuchkin's school life turns into fantastic adventures. He travels from the past to the future, from the future to the past - without the help of any time machines. How? "If only I could go back to that happy time," Svetlik thinks one day, and together with his cousin Rodka he comes up with what seems to be an ideal plan.
Victoria Lederman (born in 1970) is a laureate of numerous awards, including the Krapivinskaya. In 2019, she was awarded the Alisa Prize, founded by Kir Bulychev, for the best children's science fiction novel ("Theory of Improbability"). With the book "Svetlik Tuchkin and the Bubble of Desires" she continues this tradition - an incredible story and precise psychological details make the story akin to the best examples of Russian children's science fiction. Although, it seems that soon the work of Victoria Lederman herself will be considered a model!
