Little Hare Jacob is eagerly awaiting the New Year, the favorite holiday of all the inhabitants of the Magic Forest. For his friends, the Hare and the Bear, he has prepared the best gift – their ceremonial portrait. But something terrible happens: an avalanche covers his house and destroys the painting. The animals try to cheer up and amuse Jacob, but all to no avail. Will even New Year's miracles not make Jacob smile?
