Signorina Cinnamon is the most unusual pastry chef in the world! She comes up with a dessert for every visitor that will appeal to them. But now her shop has been torn down to make way for a big shopping mall... But Cinnamon doesn't give up. After all, her sweets aren't just beautiful and incredibly delicious - they work wonders. The "everything will be fine" lemon cake gives you confidence. And the "you need to be patient if everything doesn't go according to plan" crispy tartlet helps you cope with a difficult situation. So Cinnamon will definitely open her pastry shop again and make her famous cakes!
Of course, Signorina Cinnamon will be helped by her favorite students Marta and Matteo and a new friend - the talented perfumer Eugenio de Rosmarini. Matteo simply fell in love with his laboratory! It turns out that confectionery has a lot in common with perfumery: strict recipes, flights of fancy and, of course, enchanting aromas. But can they save friendship, restore trust and give hope?
Italian writer, journalist and screenwriter Luigi Ballerini (born in 1963) came up with a way to combine his passion for cooking and love of children's literature. "Signorina Cinnamon" won the main Italian award Premio Andersen in 2014 in the category "Best Book for Readers Ages 9-12". This urban fairy tale was also liked by Russian sweet-tooths - and now KompasGid presents its sequel.
