Odysseus is in a panic: he has a serious competitor in the fight for the right to be considered the main adventurer of the ancient world - the Trojan Aeneas! They say that he, too, will have an incredible sea voyage, a meeting with the Cyclops, Scylla, Charybdis and all that. However, this will still happen, for now both Odysseus and Aeneas are just little mythical creatures... However, the king of Ithaca should be wary already now, because centuries later the "Aeneid" of the Roman poet Virgil will become no less popular than the "Odyssey" of the Greek aedes Homer!

Meanwhile, the baby Achilles, whom we remember from the first volumes of the series, has grown up and is preparing with all his might for a career as the greatest warrior in history. And everything would be fine, but his mother, the sea nymph Thetis (the same one who dipped him in the sacred waters of the Styx, holding him by the heel), imagines her son's future completely differently! Of course, she knows the oracle's prediction very well, announcing that Achilles has two paths: to live a long but inglorious life, or a short but heroic one. And, in order not to tempt her son with a choice, she decides to hide him on a distant island, dressing him up as a girl for good measure... Will her trick work? You will find out about this in the new volume of the popular "Mifyata" series.

At the end of the book, the authors, as always, have prepared for readers detailed (but not devoid of their signature humor!) historical material, from which you will learn who and when founded Troy and Rome, why Homer's poem about the Trojan War is called the Iliad, what holidays the ancient Romans celebrated, who the Penates, Lares and Manes are, why Madagascar primates are called lemurs, how Athena became Pallas and much, much more!
