Dear parents and speech therapists!
Here is a set of cards with various tasks for practicing words consisting of one closed syllable (words of class III syllabic structure, according to A.K. Markova's classification). For example: house, cat, dog.
This entertaining manual is intended for children from 3 to 5 years old. It will help children with normal speech development, who are just moving from simple words to words more complex in structure, to start speaking. And for older children with general speech underdevelopment of the 1st and 2nd levels - to start speaking and overcome violations of the sound-syllabic structure of the word. Moreover, the manual will contribute to the development of phonemic perception and analysis, thinking, ideas about the color and shape of objects, attention and visual perception, spatial thinking and graphomotor skills, learning grammar and constructing a phrase.
With each card the tasks become more complicated. The main character of our manual - Tom the cat - accompanies the child on all the cards and offers him to perform exciting tasks. In this case, the child not only pronounces words, but also performs certain actions. For this you will need erasable markers.
The tasks are accompanied by instructions for the child and comments for the adult. The instructions can be adapted depending on the child's capabilities. Tasks marked with an asterisk (*) are offered to children over 4 years old.
During the lessons, do not focus on the clarity of pronunciation of complex sounds. The main thing is that the rhythmic structure of the word is preserved.
