Once upon a time, in a huge city, there lived a little mouse who was so inquisitive that he spent months in libraries reading books.
One day he noticed that there were almost no mice left in the city. Dangers had driven away his relatives: hungry cats and predatory owls lay in wait on the streets, and sinister devices were now laid out everywhere in people's houses - mousetraps!
