What's that noise in the attic? After many years, the old robot has turned on and come to life! Robonanny Wu has raised three generations of the Fuchs family. She doesn't have superpowers, but she's great at sitting with children: cooking porridge, wiping dust, telling stories... Compared to the new robots, she looks very slow. Of course, they can fly! And Nanny Wu dreams of only one thing - to be needed by her owners. It doesn't matter that she looks like a cross between a vacuum cleaner and an oven: even an outdated robot model can dream and strive to become better. And then everything is possible, you just need to get to Archibald Tin Workshop, where she was assembled many years ago...
Ksenia Gorbunova is a writer, journalist and screenwriter. Laureate of the New Children's Book, Crystal Spring and Big Fairy Tale competitions, finalist of the Korneichukovskaya Prize International Children's Literature Festival. The author's imagination easily animates even mechanisms - and they become on a par with the characters of the film WALL-E and the story "I Sing the Electric Body!" by Ray Bradbury. And they find their true purpose, realizing with surprise that it does not always coincide with the instructions written for them. The fairy tale was illustrated by artist Elena Kurash, already known to readers for her design of the books Vasilkin D. The Seventh Squad and Princess Tornada.
