The book "Forgotten Birthday" includes amazing fairy tales by the English writer, artist, actor and director Donald Bisset. At first, D. Bisset wrote fairy tales for a children's TV show and drew pictures for them himself. His unusual short stories about everything in the world were so popular with children that soon D. Bisset released his first book.
The collection "Forgotten Birthday" unites several cycles of fairy tales by Donald Bisset, including his famous "Conversations with a Tiger". In addition, the book includes original, fictional "conversations" of the author with the tiger cub Rrrr, which were written by the translator and expert on D. Bisset's work N. V. Shereshevskaya.
All tales by D. Bisset in our edition are given in the classic translation by N. V. Shereshevskaya. The book was illustrated by People's Artist of Russia V. A. Chizhikov.
