Gorgeli and the mystery of the glacier
The boy Melle, his parents and his sister Limoni are going to the mountains to spend their holidays there. Melle already knows a lot about the mysterious creatures - the gorgels, who protect children from the nasty pests that try to infect children with the flu, colds and other diseases. During the trip, Belia, the gorgels-protector of Limoni, suddenly disappears, and when Melle and her sister go looking for her, they encounter a pack of evil and very dangerous wild pests.
Exciting adventures and amazing discoveries await them, they will find new friends and together with them they will fight against insidious enemies. But will they find Belia and will they be able to return home?
In 2019, this book won the Dutch Children's Jury Prize, which is awarded to the best children's book of the year. It is a sequel to the adventure story "Gorgeli", winner of the Dutch Children's Jury Prize in 2016.
The book contains more than 110 color illustrations.
