One frosty winter night, the fox Mikel decided to go to the farm to get himself some dinner. But he didn't know that for a long time the farm had been guarded by a gnome who would not let anyone harm its inhabitants. Astrid Lindgren wrote this short Christmas story based on a poem by Karl-Erik Forslund.
