Through the recognizable realities of our time - supermarkets, social networks, computer games - details emerge that have migrated from children's classics: boyish heroism, a sense of camaraderie, characters that harden from page to page. And the story about modern fifth-graders suddenly turns out to be a bridge to internal growth and maturation.
