The twenty-two chapters of this book tell about the geographical features and natural resources of different countries, about the customs and traditions of the peoples inhabiting them, about scientific, technical and other achievements of the past and present. Each chapter contains 4 experiments of varying degrees of complexity that illustrate the story, allowing you to clearly reproduce a volcanic eruption or tsunami, the movement of tectonic plates, understand how a harp or a loom works, learn how to tie sea knots or cook an English breakfast. The conclusions and observations from these experiments can then be used in chemistry, physics and mathematics lessons.
