The Nigma publishing house is releasing a book by British author and illustrator John Kelly, "The Restless Neighbor". This is an inspiring story about the unexpected friendship of two antagonists - the melancholic Piglet, who values solitude and order, and the extroverted Goose, who loves parties and fun travels.
Piglet lived alone in a house on a high hill. He liked to bake pies, read books and do puzzles. More than anything in the world, he loved solitude, his cozy home and the view from the window. But one day, an overly active and sociable Goose appeared on his doorstep. Much to Piglet's annoyance, Goose began to build a house next door.
Loud and at first quite intrusive, Goose deafened Piglet with stories of distant lands and extreme entertainment. He tried everything under the sun - from skiing and mountaineering to parachuting and scuba diving. Piglet just wanted to be left alone.
Eventually, after a particularly noisy party, the neighbors quarreled. The goose flew away. And Piglet suddenly realized that without the restless neighbor, life was too quiet and boring…
Based on the book, Petalsuma Lightstream Animation Studio released an animated short film.
