The Nigma publishing house is releasing a large gift collection of fairy tales by Alexei Nikolaevich Tolstoy with illustrations by Yana Sedova.
Yana Sedova's illustrations for the fairy tales of Alexei Nikolaevich Tolstoy were noted both by the professional community - the "Image of the Book" awards - and by the love of readers.
The trilogy "Folk Tales", "Mermaid Tales" and "Magpie Tales" is the pride of the publishing house "NIGMA".
At the request of readers, we combined these three books into one and added more fairy tales. The result is a large and very beautiful collection of Alexei Nikolaevich Tolstoy's "Fairy Tales".
The book includes Russian folk tales adapted by Tolstoy, as well as fairy tale novellas created by the writer based on Slavic mythology and combined by him into collections: "Mermaid Tales" - with magical and mythological plots, "Magpie Tales" - about animals. A total of 69 works.
All the tales are distinguished by their bright and expressive language, intricate plots and unique atmosphere. The fascinating illustrations by Yana Sedova perfectly complement the book.
