With the help of this notebook, the child will learn to confidently write printed letters of the Russian alphabet. As in all other Kumon manuals, it is based on the principle from simple to complex. That is why the letters in the notebook are not given in alphabetical order, but by the difficulty of writing. First, the child will write letters consisting of straight lines, then of slanted ones, then letters with arcs and finally with circles. Before starting to write letters, the child will practice drawing lines of varying complexity.
The notebook was developed by the Kumon center specifically for Russian children and was tested and approved by the teacher, author of many manuals for preschoolers Svetlana Voskresenskaya, who acted as the scientific consultant for the notebook.
