Ulrika Kestere is a photographer, illustrator, writer and graphic designer. She was born in Latvia and lives in Sweden. Her creative path began in Lofoten, Norway, where she studied photography for two years. Afterwards, Ulrika returned to Sweden and studied industrial design at the Ingvard Kamprad School. Ulrika Kestere has published four children's books. They have been translated into 11 languages and are very popular.
Ulrika loves the outdoors and the harsh Scandinavian weather. The Lofoten Islands will always hold a special place in her heart and are the inspiration for many of her illustrations.
