An old man was walking through the forest and lost his mitten. He came back for it and saw that it was no longer just a mitten, but a house! Now it is home to Silky-Fur Mouse, Jumpy Frog, Jumpy Bunny, Fluffy Fox, Tooth-Snap Wolf, Tusk - a wild boar, and Clubfoot - a shaggy bear. Norwegian classic Alf Prøysen retold the plot of the folk tale, and artist Asbjørn Tønnesen created cozy winter illustrations.
