A story in pictures about freedom, equality and the importance of following your dreams.
Lulu was born into a family of circus performers. She dreams of following in her parents' footsteps and becoming a lion tamer. But a terrible tragedy ruins everything: her pets perish in a fire.
Lulu doesn't want to live the life of an ordinary child, go to school and be like everyone else. A brilliant plan is born in her head: to go to Africa... for lions. After all, they are probably there! However, as soon as she steps off the ship, she finds herself in the thick of civil protests. But then a boy named Nelson comes to her aid. Together they begin a winding and thorny path to freedom and their dreams.
