The Spider is bored of sitting in her flowerbed and goes in search of adventure. The Spider's friends - the Caterpillar, the Ladybug and the Bumblebee warn her about the dangers that lurk in the Big Garden at every step. But the Spider does not listen to them and boldly goes forward, towards adventure! However, her friends call her for help every now and then, pulling the thread-web. And each time the alarm turns out to be false. What silly things and cowards they all are! Or are they? After all, if you look closely, they pull the Spider just at the moment when hungry birds, toothy fish and furry animals open their beaks, mouths and jaws to swallow the brave Spider. And then these "silly things and cowards" unite and drive away the huge Frog, who hypnotizes the Spider with her gaze so much that she finally gets scared too.

Young British writer S. Marendaz and artist Carly Gledhill tell us two stories: in the first we perceive events through the eyes of Spiderling; in the second we see what is really happening. Therefore, the child needs to look at the book very carefully, run his finger over it, and then the author's idea will be revealed to him in all its fullness.
