One of the masterpieces of Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky is the "Children's Album" - these are musical sketches from the everyday life of a child. The most ordinary day - with its games, dances, fairy tales and dreams.
The album consists of 24 pieces, 10 of which you will get to know in our book.
Compositions describing the morning: “Morning Prayer”, “Winter Morning”, and, of course, the child’s “Mom” is always next to him.
Day, games for boys and girls: "Game of horses", "March of wooden soldiers", "Doll's illness", "Doll's funeral".
The child’s spiritual world contains, among other things, the inevitable first losses, bereavements, and reflections on the meaning of life—these themes arise in the child’s inner world and require being lived through.
Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky created a kind of psychological cycle that introduces and reveals in us a whole palette of feelings and emotions.
Our album ends with the composition “Song of the Lark”, which is a symbol of rebirth.
