In the third book in the series, Lucas and Emma's parents go on tour. The brother and sister love them very much, but are still happy to live a few days of independent "adult" life.
Finally, they found themselves in the Whale Museum, met the numerous inhabitants of the North Sea and saw the main exhibit - a huge skeleton of a real sperm whale (the sperm whale, as is known, belongs to the suborder of toothed whales). But what is it? The sperm whale's ribs are fake! Some criminals are stealing precious whale bone, replacing fragments of the skeleton with plaster fakes. Emma and Lucas immediately began an investigation and quickly got on the trail of a gang trading in whale bone. These are the colorful characters Dilda and Karman, as well as their boss Rubilnik.
Having carefully studied the "True Detective's Guide" that the brother and sister inherited from their great-uncle, the children fearlessly set out to chase the crooks. It's a good thing they took a set of master keys from their grandfather's detective suitcase, otherwise they would have been sitting in the locked Whale Museum that night.
At some point, luck changed for the young detectives, and they fell into the hands of scoundrels. But resourcefulness and absolute composure saved Lucas and Emma this time too. Even gags and tied hands are no obstacle for real detectives. They managed to free themselves and cunningly left a trail that led the police straight to the lair of the criminals.
