They are helped by a girl with a cool appearance - with a half-shaved head and an earring made of dyed seagull feathers. Together, they not only find their bikes and track down the leader of the treacherous kidnappers, but also save the life of a policeman.
Like any good detective story, the plot of the book is twisted. Unexpected details of the investigation and an excellent translation by Pavel Frenkel guarantee reading from the first to the last page in one sitting.
