The following fairy tales by the Brothers Grimm are included in the Wimmelbuch: Little Red Riding Hood, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Sleeping Beauty, Hansel and Gretel (also known as The Gingerbread House), The Wolf and the Seven Little Goats, and Puss in Boots.
Each work is dedicated to a separate spread. If you suddenly forgot the plot, do not worry: at the end there is a brief retelling of all the tales. On the spreads there is a game "Find and show": ask the child to find and show the characters, details, objects that are depicted at the bottom of the page.
In addition, ask your child to find images that are not related to the fairy tale or that seem absurd. The Wimmelbuch contains funny but inappropriate characters: in "Little Red Riding Hood", for example, the crocodile in the river reads a newspaper, the geese do yoga, and so on. Tasks to find the odd one out train logic and attentiveness.
The child can also perform tasks on searching and logic. Find and count all the birds in the forest, find out what time of year the action of a particular fairy tale takes place, examine and name all the animals, and so on.
