Two charming bears - a father and a son - decided to have a great time on this spring day. And what could be better than hugging someone? So the bears got down to business. They hugged: the hard-working Beaver, the Weasel who was engrossed in reading, two timid hares, the tired and dissatisfied Wolf, the very old Elk, the unfamiliar Anaconda, the tiny Caterpillar and even the Hunter. They hugged all the inhabitants of the forest - but they forgot someone. Someone very, very important. The son remembered this first, then the father figured it out. Can you guess? The witty and kind illustrations for this book were drawn by the Polish artist Emilia Dziubak, who has already become a favorite of many readers.
In 2014, Emilia Dziubak received an award in Warsaw for her illustrations to this book.
In 2012, the book was nominated for the Polish Society of Book Publishers' competition "The Most Beautiful Book of the Year".
